Work Experience for Candidates

Goddard Gadd understands how challenging it can be to break into the creative industries. It can be disheartening to finish university with fantastic qualifications and be turned down for jobs because you have not got enough experience. This is why we have set up a work experience programme to give our candidates the best possible chance of landing their dream job. Typically, work experience placements last for two weeks and travel expenses are often covered by the host company. Our candidates have the opportunity to spend time in companies all over the UK for the biggest names in PR, Advertising and Marketing. Work experience is a great way to build a fantastic CV, which together with expert guidance from our consultants, will soon land you your perfect first job.

Work Experience – An extra benefit for our clients

Goddard Gadd understands that media companies can be over-loaded with applications from candidates, which can take up valuable time and resources to sift through. Our managed work experience programme has been created to make this process easier for our clients. We have a candidate database full of high-calibre, motivated candidates all of who have been interviewed and screened to our usual high standard. We source and interview candidates from colleges and universities all over the country with great qualifications and the drive to succeed.

Each placement lasts for two weeks and it is a completely free service for clients, should you wish to retain a candidate for longer our usual temporary and permanent fees will apply.
